Eelaventhan suspended from TNA

The TNA Parliamentarian, Eelaventhan who was not present in the parliament during voting on the second reading of the budget was suspended from the TNA.

Explanation will be called from him for his absence from Parliament on the particular day in spite of the strict orders given to all TNA Parliamentarians. He was in Canada at that time, said the TNA leader R. Sampanthan in a press conference of the TNA held in the Parliament complex yesterday.

The Kilinochchy sources said, LTTE political leader, P. Nadesan has made the order to Sampanthan to remove the national list MP Eelaventhan from the membership on the instructions given by the LTTE spokesman Rasiah Ilanthirayan. A Lawyer of the Tamil Congress is to be appointed instead of him, the sources said further.
