Police commence extensive investigations

 

Police say extensive investigations are now being carried out regarding the bomb blast occurred in Piliyandala bus stand on Friday.
A senior police officer said several police teams have been deployed for investigations and eight suspects have already been taken into custody.
Police have already revealed information by questioning them. The government analyst says that the bomb was consists of two kilograms of high power explosives. It has been revealed that the bomb was placed as a parcel in the luggage rack of the bus.
The government analyst said that a preliminary report in this regard has already been handed over to the Police.
