2229 persons flee LTTE held Vakarai area

2229 persons of 682 families fled the LTTE held Vakarai area and entered the government controlled area.

581 males, 646 females, 504 male children and 498 female children were among them. All the necessary facilities are being supplied for them said the government sources.
