First ever Sri Lankan Gems & Jewellaries exhibition in Iran

image   Since the visit of Mahinda Rajapakse, President, Socialist Democratic Re-Public of Sri Lanka to the Islamic Re-Public of Iran and his diplomatic meeting with the President of Islamic Re-Public of Iran Mahmood Ahmadinjad have created a very good diplomatic relationship and trade opportunities between the two countries. Sri Lankan delegation consisting Senior Coordinator to His Excellency the President Mahinda Rajapakse of the social democratic  re-public of Sri Lanka for the United States of America and Sri Lanka Consul General to Colombia and Venezuela Mr Jeff. M. Goonawardena and Chairman of National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) Mr Amal Senalankadhikara, along with Iranian counter part MS Farnaz Foroutan (BEHROUZ NIK CO) were able to organize successfully the first ever Gems and Jewellaries exhibition for 3 days in Teheran commencing from 28th, 29th and 30th of July, 2008 in association with Premadasas Gems & Jewellary Plc [ward place] of Sri Lanka. Over thousands of leading business people in Iran are expected to visit the exhibition   Further the Sri Lankan delegation met the Sri Lankan Ambassador in Iran His Excellency M.M. Suhair and discussed the ways and means how to introduce and attract the Sri Lankan hospitality to the Iranians and the opportunity available for learning English language for their children in Sri Lanka.  NAITA Chairman, Mr.Amal Senalankadikara have briefed Sri Lankan Ambassador that NAITA can facilitate the Iranian students to improve their English language and technical skills in association with Waltham Forrest College of London, Hotel School of Sri Lanka ,Thilanka Hotel group and Springfield international school in Kandy in order to  improve and boost the tourism industry of the Islamic Re-Public of Iran. Also Mr Amal Senalankadhikara and Mr.Jeff Goonawardane have agreed to coordinate with the Sri Lankan Embassy in Iran in this regard  The Sri Lankan delegation will be visiting the leading institutions and industries in the Islamic Re-Public of Iran [Behrouz Food Industries a well reputed import and export in Iran for tea and food items] and to see the opportunity to organize an Iranian trade exhibition in Sri Lanka in a short while  Also the Sri Lankan delegation will be leaving to Dubai after leaving Iran on the via to Sri Lanka to organize the next exhibition on Gems & Jewellaries and travels & tourism in Dubai somewhere in October, 2008 where there also most of the leading business people are expected to visit the exhibition.
