Bogollagama's daughter at ministerial meeting

Diplomats have strongly disapproved of Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama for taking his daughter to a special meeting of SAARC foreign ministers yesterday (July 31st).

This was a serious violation of diplomatic traditions, said diplomatic sources.

The meeting at the BMICH in Colombo was out of bounds even for ambassadors and high commissioners of the region.

Mr. Bogollagama had also included his daughter and son as delegates of Sri Lanka at the foreign ministerial council meeting yesterday.
