The people from Vakarai will be resettled in Kajuwatte

Nearly about 164 persons from Vakarai and Santhively have come to Rithithenna, Batticaloa. They belong to 53 families and 68 children were included in this displaced people. Government had made sure that all assistances are provided to these people.
Nearly about 23,000 people of 7,422 families have come from Vakarai to the army-controlled areas. This included 7632 females and 9,142 children. These people are occupying more than 5 schools. National Security Centre has made all attempts to resettle these people in the Kajuwatte area.
