Bomb blast kills Maj; General Janaka Perera and 22 others

Major General Janaka Perera , his wife , Dr.Raja Johnpulle and 22 others were killed due to a bomb blast near the old bus stand in Anuradhapura this morning .
The police say opposition leader of the North central Provincial Council Janaka Perera was participating in the opening of a UNP office at Priman Road in Anuradhapura. Around 80 persons have also been injured. 
Meanwhile our sources say Sirasa Correspondent of the Anuradhapura area Rashmi Maharoof was killed due to the blast.
