SriLankan Airlines launches SMS alerts to enhance customer convenience

 SriLankan Airlines which flies to 44 destinations in 24 countries in Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, and the Far East has launched an SMS alert facility to keep passengers informed of flight updates.

With the new facility in place the airline is urging all passengers including foreigners with roaming facility to provide their mobile phone numbers at the time they book their tickets, in order to ensure their contactability.
