The LTTE must give up their demand for Tamil Eelam and should come forward with a political solution; otherwise there is no use of negotiating, said the Minister of Constitution and National Integrity, DEW Gunasekara.

It is not too late for LTTE to choose an alternate political path. The international community must understand the ground situation and give pressure to the LTTE to reach a political solution. Otherwise for how long the Tamils are going to suffer in this manner? he said further.
