Ships of flour and fertilizer to Jaffna

2400 metric tons of fertilizers are being sent to Jaffna by Induruwali ship and 2800 metric tons flour by Ja Ela ship.

The Jaffna farmers made a request to send them fertilizers before September and all kind of fertilizers were sent to Jaffna without ship transport charges. Last Friday flour also was sent to Jaffna but still there is a shortage for flour. Hence 2800 metric tons of flour is to be dispatched on 24th.

Nutritional foods under the world food programme are also loaded to the Induruweli ship along with rice and flour. This ship is also bringing Thriposa, for the mothers in Jaffna.
