A meeting is to be held at the Colombo Municipal Council to discuss about provision of relief measures to victims of fire, which destroyed houses adjoining the R. Premadasa sports grounds in Colombo.
The course of the misfortune is the leak of electricity, it is told. However, losses to lives has been nil according to police. The Mayor of Colombo, Uvaise Mohamed Imthias yesterday visited the people affected by fire, following this he announced that a meeting to discuss relief measures to the victims to be held at the Colombo Municipal Council.
