British parliamentarian to arrive in Sri Lanka

British Parliamentarian Liam Fox is to arrive in Sri Lanka today on a three day official visit.

 

During his visit he is to meet President Mahinda Rajapakse, Foreign Minister, Rohitha Bogollagama, Science and Technology Minister, Tissa Vitharana and Opposition Leader, Ranil Wickramasinghe.

 

Earlier, while he was the British Defence Minister he visited Sri Lanka during the regime of Chandrika Bandaranayake Kumarathunga in 2001.
