Australia to ban LTTE

Australia has taken some measures to ban the LTTE, said Australian Foreign Minster Alexander Downer, to the pressmen in London when he arrived there to participate in the Ministers Conference of Common Wealth Countries. Australia has taken the report of the Australian intelligence department into consideration regarding the LTTE extortion and arms smuggling, he said.

India, America, Britain and European countries have already banned the LTTE and enlisted as a terrorist movement.
