Mukarjee’s Chennai statement is India’s stance

The statement made by Indian Foreign Minster, Pranab Mukarjee in Chennai, that India will not directly interfere in the Sri Lanka conflict is the India’s stance, said the Indian High Commissioner Alok Prasath.  There aren’t any undertakings regarding the merger of north east. India had only talks with TNA but there was no joint statement, he said further.
