Pranab Mukerjee is arriving in Sri Lanka tomorrow

Indian External Affairs Minister, Pranab Mukerjee will be arriving in Sri Lanka tomorrow on a one-day visit at the invitation of President Mahinda Rajapakse.

He is expected to have discussions about the SAARC conference in April and the current situation of the country. Views on India’s stand on Sri Lanka’s ethnic issue and the peace efforts of the GOSL would be exchanged at the discussions.

Recently Indian Prime Minister had also discussed the Sri Lankan issue with the opposition party of India.

At the same time the Indian External Affairs Minister is expected to discuss the Sri Lankan issue with the Social Services Minister, K.N. Douglas Devananda.
