The government is steadily committed to solve the ethnic crisis by negotiation. At the same time we to take action to strengthen the national security, said President Mahinda Rajapakse to the Indian Foreign Minister, Pranab Mukarjee.

Further the President said, a political solution will be achieved by negotiation and all party conference was convened for that purpose. He also explained to him regarding the activities of all party conference.
