More violations of the CFA by the Prabakaran Faction of the LTTE - SLMM

The Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission has stated that the Prabakaran Faction of the LTTE has violated the Ceasefire Agreement more number of times. The Presidential Secretariat said that this is the outcome of the SLMM following lengthy observations.

The LTTE has violated the CFA - 3830 times from the 22nd of February 2002 to the 30th of April 2007. 67.24% of the violations are about recruitment of children and abductions. Only 351 violations have been reported against the Sri Lankan government during the same period, says the Presidential Secretariat quoting the SLMM report.
