The government will continue its actions to defeat terrorism, said Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama in his address at the International Conference on Countering Terrorism, held in the BMICH yesterday.

Terrorism is not limited to a certain part of the world but it is engulfing all regions. They are engaged in human trafficking, drug smuggling and financial activities. The world intelligent men and medias witnessed that the LTTE is doing the same thing. Hence the countries should unite to over come terrorism.

We, as a democratic government, elected by the people are committed and firmly believe that a final and lasting solution to the ethnic conflict could be reached only politically. At the same time the government will continue its actions to defeat terrorism, he said further.
