Six man committee to implement the accord signed by two major parties

A committee comprising of six members from the two major parties-Sri Lanka Freedom Party and United National Party will be appointed to implement the MoU signed by both these parties. Three members from each party will be selected to this committee. The Leader of the Opposition has decided to appoint the three members from his party soon.

Government representatives will be selected upon receiving the names from the UNP, President Mahinda Rajapakse said.
