Arms smuggling through Indian fishermen

The government has detected that the LTTE is using the Indian fishermen for their arms smuggling and the government is to take up this matter with the Indian government.

When President Mahinda Rajapakse meets Indian Premier, Dr. Manmohan Singh during his visit to India on 26th, he will point this out to India, the Hindustan Times daily has reported. The Sri Lanka President will stress the need for joint navy patrolling of both countries in the Park Strait. The President visit to India is to declare open and address the Mayors of Asian Region conference to be held in Dehradun.
