Rajapaksa rejects early pardon for General Fonseka

Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa has ruled out an early pardon for his election rival Sarath Fonseka and dismissed the former army chief as a “fool” who was unprepared for politics.

TID Reprimanded For Ridiculing Court

The Colombo Additional Magistrate Gihan Ranawaka has called for a full report on the arbitrarily arrest of Major Sunil de Silva who had been granted anticipatory bail.
