Alleged LTTE gunmen shot dead a Tamil civilian in Jaffna

Suspected LTTE gunmen shot dead a Tamil civilian in the Nawanthurai market
premises in Jaffna, today
(August 12 ) at 06.30a.m.
The victim was identified as Peduru Pillai Jesu Dasan, a 40 year old  family man
in Nawanturai.
Jaffna Police sources when inquired into the incident said that, a Police team
was dispatched to the crime scene for investigations. Tension prevailed in the
area while few commuters and retailers were seen in the usually crowded 'Sunday
market' at Nawanthurai, Jaffna civilians said.
