The post peon of Kilinochchi Uruthirapuram post office, Thirunavukarasu Bala, 33
years of Kodikamam
Vellampokkaddy was taken by force by the LTTE for conscription before 6 months.
He was not allowed visits by their relatives. Later his body was handed over to
his sister, Vathany at her house at Uruthirapuram the day before yesterday by
the LTTE and was told said that he was killed in the Manalaru battle.
Three of Bala’s brothers are abroad and one of his sisters is in India. His
mother Thirunavukarasu Saraswathy who was in Colombo has rushed to Uruthirapuram
via Omanthai for the funeral of her youngest son yesterday.
Will the local and international human rights commission interface the
conscription of the government employees who are being taken away forcibly by
the LTTE and are being killed in the battlefield?
Will the media persons make protests against these human right violations?
