Oman Air to commemmorate Colombo service
Oman Air will be commemorating its flights to the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo on Friday, February 26.
The flights to this destination were launched in November last year with four weekly frequencies between Muscat and Colombo.
Muscat Municipality president Engineer Sultan Hamdoon Al Harthi will be the chief guest for the launch celebrations that will have a high-level delegation from Oman Air, led by its chief executive officer Peter Hill, along with other senior management team who will be in Colombo for this purpose.
To commemorate its new service, Oman Air has arranged a gala dinner on Friday at Hotel Cinnamon Grand for the top officials of Sri Lanka and the travel trade members.
This event will give the invitees an opportunity to interact with Oman Air's top management.
'Sri Lanka has proven to be a welcomed addition to the ever expanding Oman Air network,' Hill said.
'We have reasons to believe that our customers are thrilled with this destination, as Sri Lanka has everything a tourist wants to explore, experience and see.
'Together with the new A 330 aircraft that are deployed into this segment and the spectacular natural beauty that the place is known for, our valued customers can surely have an enjoyable holiday.
'Our service to this destination is also viewed as a boon by the many Sri Lankan expatriates working in Oman who have started using our services,' he added.
