Fuel prices reduced

Fuel prices were reduced as the crude oil price went down in the world market, said the Minister of Transport and Petroleum Resources, A H M Fowzi.

Following the new price reduction the price of a litre of petrol has been brought down by Rs. 5/= and a litre of diesel by Rs.2/=. A litre of petrol will be sold at Rs. 92/= and diesel at Rs. 60/=.

The Minister will hold talks with the private bus owners to reduce the bus fares according to the fuel price reduction.
