Eight LTTE cadres planned to kill Wardharaja arrested in Madras

 The 'Key Branch' of Madras police today (18) arrested eight LTTE cadres for planning to assassinate former Chief Minister of North-East Province Wardharaja Perumal who is now under the protection of Indian government.

The suspects have planned to kill the former EPRLF leader at the wedding of his daughter to be held in New Delhi.

The names of the suspects are Nadan, Aravindan, Agilan, Paris Raj, Joseph, Keshawan, Ganeshan and Sudarshan. The Key Branch has revealed that these persons are LTTE intelligence wing members.

The series of arrests were conducted following the arrest of Nadan at Madipakkam of New Delhi.

The suspects have continued supplying explosives to LTTE and elimination the enemies. They have revealed that the Tamilnadu LTTE intelligence leader Serenji Master instructed them to kill Wardharaja at his daughter's wedding.

Nadan who went to New Delhi as a refugee was planning to kill Wardharaja while participating in the wedding as a relative of Wardharaja's uncle. They have expected an immense publicity to the organization by assassinating Wardharaja in public.
