UNP returns back to Elephant symbol

The UNP will contest the upcoming Parliamentary elections under the elephant symbol, party leader Ranil Wickremesinghe has decided.

 

UNP MP Lakshman Kiriella said that at a meeting of the district leaders on Sunday the party decided that they should contest under the UNF as they did in 2001.
