UNP action against Cader

The UNP has decided to take disciplinary action against UNP Member of Parliament Abdul Cader for voting with the government at the emergency debate in Parliament yesterday, UNP Chief Organizer John Amarartunga said.

He said that the UNP MP had voted in favor of extending the emergency by another month despite the party taking a policy decision to vote against it. The disciplinary committee will meet to decide on the action to be taken against the MP.
