The Fort Magistrate today ordered to confiscate to the state Rs. 15 million which were in the bank accounts of Danuna Tilkaratna, son in law of Gen (retd) Sarath Fonseka.

The order was given by Magistrate Lanka Jayaratna, as the suspect did not turn up in courts to face charges connected with the allegations of submitting fraudulent documents to tender for supplies to the Army.

The money was in accounts held in the Bank of Ceylon and HSBC and courts were informed that these were the only assets held by him.
