JHU offered two national list posts, five nominations to contest

The JHU has been offered two National list positions and five nominations under the UPFA to contest the upcoming Parliamentary elections.

The names of those contesting and those to be included in the national list were announced at the JHU convention held at the National Youth Service Centre.

Accordingly JHU leader Ven Ellawala Medhananda and the General Secretary Ven Omalpe Sobitha thera have been offered national list positions.

The others contesting are;
Ven Athureliye Rathana- (Gampaha)
Champika Ranawaka-(Colombo)
Retired Squadron Leader Shantha Jayatillaka -(Kalutara)
Attorney at law M.C.Jayaratna (Kurunegala)
Thushara Swaranatillaka- (Kandy)
