Pillayan in Colombo hospital for dengue treatment

Eastern Province Chief Minister Sivanesaturai Chandrakanthan alias Pilliyan was airlifted to a private hospital in Colombo from Batticaloa for treatment for Dengue fever, party sources said.

Mr.Chandrakanthan had been treated at the Batticaloa Base Hospital for dengue for three days abut had to be moved to Colombo after his condition worsened.

Sources said his condition is improving since receiving treatment in Colombo since Thursday.
