Ready to devolve powers to end national crisis

The government is ready to devolve powers in order to end the national crisis, said the Prime Minister to the officials of the Indian Defence Academy when they met him yesterday.

 

The government will welcome the LTTE if they come to the negotiation table. The government will not allow any foreign country or NGO to interfere in the internal affairs of our country, he said further.

 

At the same time the Foreign Minister, Rohitha Bogollagama said in a press conference in Brussels that a situation will be brought by the All Party Conference and it is nearing the final stage.
