LTTE eastern are commander committs suicide

One of the LTTE area commanders of the east has committed suicide on the last Saturday. The victim was Ulaganathan alias Kathirgamapody Ramalingam, the people of the area said.

 

Pavalamaran alias Martin Silva Jeyachandran, who attempted to save him was also killed. The LTTE cadres are fleeing from the east. But the LTTE commander has requested them to live in exile in the east. His native place was Batticaloa and he was well known to all. Hence he could not live in exile and he informed that he wished to go to Vanni. But the Vanni leadership turned down his request. Therefore, he had no choice and committed suicide by shooting himself. But the LTTE has said that he was killed in an accidental fire.
