Sri Lanka President to attend NAM in Egypt

Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa will leave for Egypt next week to attend the 15th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit.

 

The President will leave the country on July 14 to attend the summit scheduled to be held from July 11 to 16. During the visit, the President is scheduled to meet several world leaders on the sideline of the summit.

Heads of State from some 118 nations will attend the 15th NAM Summit.

The Non-Aligned Movement is an international organization of states considering themselves not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc.
