Key JHU monks support Gen Fonseka

A group of monks representing Jahatika Hela Urumaya (JHU) today pledged their support to opposition common presidential candidate General (retd) Sarath Fonseka in the upcoming presidential election.

A Central Committee member of the JHU, leader of the Kurunegala district and an organiser in the Colombo district, Ven Uadhamulle Shri Wimala led the group of six monks. 

“Gen Fonseka has a better programme to address the problems faced by the people of the country”, he said.
