Fonseka men withdraw FR application

Two army officers who worked for General (retd.)Sarath Fonseka and who were detained by the CID withdrew the Fundament Rights application they had filed in the Supreme Court today.

The two men who had filed the petition alleging unlawful detention but withdrew the application as they had been released without charges a few days ago. 

The two petitioners are Vijtha Anslem Koddippily and retired Lieutenant Colonel Gotabaya Wijesundera.
