Online Petition Active Again
The online petition launched to demand the release of Gen. Sarath Fonsek, who was arrested illegally by the Military Police and is being arbitrarily detained without any charges against him in a dark room without ventilation, has been re-launched after evading all obstructions brought to sabotage it states Democratic National Alliance (DNA).
A spokesman for DNA stated that an organized group with ulterior interests had increased the number of accesses and this had caused an obstruction in the server making it possible for only a limited number to access the site.
However, the site has been moved to a server with a bigger capacity and measures have been taken to thwart saboteurs said the spokesman for DNA.
As such, people all over the world who long for democracy and human rights in Sri Lanka could sign the petition and contribute to get freedom to Gen. Sarath Fonseka said the spokesman.
The online petition could be accessed at www.freesarathfonseka.com
