Casino Ravi provides financial backing to Sajith’s operation

The campaign launched to bring Sajith Premadasa to the UNP’s leadership had received financial assistance from well-known Casino businessman Ravi Wijeratne, sources from Sirikotha said.

Ravi Wijeratne had provided Rs. 10 million for Sajith’s initial propaganda activities and has agreed to assist the campaign further through the Rivira, The Nation and Bottom Line newspapers that have been brought by him.

Sources further said that apart from Ravi Wijeratne, Sajith’s campaign has also received financial assistance from the Nawaloka Group of Companies.
