SL is now a China's colony – Dayasiri Jayasekera

UNP M P for Kurunegala Dayasiri Jayasekera , said , by China controlling most of the infra structure development and facilities in SL, the latter is fast becoming a colony of China.

The Govt. has been promised a loan of US Dollars 3021 million, but so far only 35 million dollars had been granted. Under the projects with China in SL, 25000 Chinese prisoners are in the labor force working here, he pointed out.

While questioning why Sri Lankan youths cannot be employed in these projects, of the 25000 Chinese labor work force, 2042 are employed in Hambantota, he added. SL only provides sand and earth towards these Chinese projects. Because of these vast Chinese projects in SL, in African countries like Tanzania, problems have proliferated, he observed.

Huge commissions and kickbacks are being collected via these Chinese aid projects, he further stated.
