Moragahakanda project goes under with Rs. 40.5 million

Government sources say that the Moragahakanda and Kalu Ganga projects will have to be stopped midway due to the lack of funds in the government.

The two projects were inaugurated saying it would be carried out with local investments. The government is under the impression that foreign loans would have to be taken to continue with the projects. A sum of Rs. 40.5 million has already been invested in the two projects.
