Funds to LTTE – No comment by UNICEF

The UNICEF has declined to comment on the charges of the JVP that UNICEF paid 10 million dollars to the LTTE. The JVP Propaganda Secretary Wimal Weerawanse in parliament yesterday accused the UNICEF of paying money to the LTTE. The UNICEF issued this response to inquiries made by the official government website.
