Kuwaiti blames ‘Sabah’ nurses; Lankan maid commits suicide

Kuwait : A Sri Lankan housemaid, whose identity has not been given reportedly jumped to her death from the third floor domestic labor office in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh, reports Arrouiah daily.
The remains of the victim have been referred to Forensics. Police are investigating the incident.
Kuwaiti blames ‘Sabah’ nurses: A Kuwaiti man recently visited the Alam Al-Yawm daily to complain about the nursing staff at the Al-Sabah Maternity Hospital.
The man told the daily his wife gave birth to a baby and nurses at the hospital reportedly gave the newborn expired milk and as a result the infant had severe stomach problems.
The father added neither the nurses nor the doctor listened to his complaint and for this reason he sought the help of Kuwait Municipality and the inspectors found six tins of milk whose validity had expired, but the nurses reportedly managed to hide these tins.
The Municipality inspectors are expected to submit their report to the concerned authorities.
Police nab hoax caller: Police have arrested an unidentified man for making a hoax call and disturbing police, reports Al-Seyassah daily.
This happened when police arrested the man’s brother because he is wanted by law in several criminal cases and the caller informed the Operations Department of the Ministry of Interior that his brother had been kidnapped.
The department informed the police and patrols were dispatched to look for the men. Securitymen set up checkpoints and the brother was spotted in a police car.
