Two candidates of an independent group joined with the UPFA

A independent group contest in eastern provincial council election under the number two has decided to join UPFA. Leader of the group H.M.Basheer announced the decision at people’s rally held in Panama under the patronage of minister Nimal Siripala Silva yesterday.
He added that his group took this decision to support the developmental process carried out in eastern province under the directives of president Mahinda Rajapakse.
Addressing the rally minister Nimal Siripala de Silva says the initiative was taken by the government to develop the country without any discrimination has been hailed by all parties.
