Compensation for Vakarai victims

The victims of the Batticaloa Vakarai shell attack will be compensated, said Rehabilitation Minister, Rizard Badurdeen.

Therefore, the victims of the incident are requested to register their names with the closest Divisional Secretariats through the Grama Seva Officers or with the Government Agents’ office.

The Government Agents and Divisional Secretaries were instructed by the minister to register the data of affected people.
