Ex-military officer and former Navy officer seek anticipatory bail

A former senior military officer and an ex-navy officer filed anticipatory bail applications at the Colombo Magistrates court claiming they were to be arrested for links with Gen (retd) Sarath Fonseka.
The officers were retired Major Gen Sunil de SIlva and Ex-Commadant Nihal Chandrasiri.
Additional Magistrate Gihan Ranawaka said the applications will be inquired into. The application of Maj Gen de Silva will be taken on Feb 23 and the other on March 16.
