Anoma Questioned For More Than 3 Hours

Ms. Anoma Fonseka, wife of Gen. Sarath Fonseka has been questioned by the CID for more than three hours today (21st).

A team of CID officers led by Shan Abeyasekera has started questioning at 4.00 p.m. and had questioned Ms. Fonseka until 7.10 p.m. They had stopped only when Ms. Fonseka had said she had to take Gen. Fonseka’s dinner to him.  

The CID officers had said they had to question Ms. Fonseka further and had said they would come back after Ms. Fonseka returns from delivering Gen. Fonseka’s dinner.
