Pillayan Visits India

Eastern Province Chief Minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan alias Pillayan went to India for talks with Indian government officials.
Reports say that he was invited to India by Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao during her visit to Sri Lanka recently. Nirupama discussed about the political solution and the 13th amendment during that visit.
Some members of the Tamil Makkal Viduthalai Pullikal (TMVP) also joined the delegation to India, Indian media has reported.
